I find things people forgot they missed.
Lucky Ducks started as one very full spare room and a habit I couldn't shake. Now it's a weekly live, an eBay store, and a lot of very carefully wrapped glassware going out in the mail.
How it started
I've been the person who stops at every estate sale sign for about as long as I've had a driver's licence. For years that just meant a house full of things I couldn't part with. Then somebody offered me money for a bowl I'd paid two dollars for, and something clicked.
The lives came later, and they changed everything. Turns out the best part of this isn't the finding — it's showing somebody a piece and watching them recognise it. That's the whole job now.
Somebody's grandmother picked this out. That's worth saying out loud before it goes in a box.
What I hunt for
Mostly glass. Jadeite, Pyrex, milk glass, carnival glass, anything with a pattern somebody spent time on. But I'll take a wind-up robot or a box of Golden Books just as happily, and seasonal decor is a weakness I've stopped apologising for.

Glass gets double-boxed. I've learned this the hard way so you don't have to.
